Friend Drama! || Laurelella

We always have drama in our life, right? No matter how dull you try to make your life, there will always be some sort of drama going on. Whether that may be happening around you, or something personally affecting you. Well, recently, there has been a lot of friend drama.
Why do people exaggerate things?
I've discovered how much people exaggerate things which they shouldn't think twice about. I know that sometimes you cannot help it but it really can be annoying at times! What is the point in groaning all day about having to do something? You are going to do it anyway, so you might as well try to be positive about it.
Sometimes I feel like nobody gets that...
I've found that... ~ Friends can make wrong judgements about things. Sometimes if you want to do something and they disagree, it really can be off-putting! It might just be best to not listen.
~ Every single day I get texts from people asking for my help, and I'm happy to offer it! However I cannot stop how peopl…

Daily Journals! || Laurelella

Hello Everyone, This morning I overheard a news reporter talking about journals.

They were talking about how people write journals to keep for themselves. As a massive memory to read back on when they are older. However, a lot of people simply throw their journals away because they no longer see a need for them.

Apparently, people have been collating all old journals together to create a massive book of history! As a fellow historian myself, I wish so much that people in the past did the exact same.

Life goes very quickly and to have a daily account of thoughts and events would be extremely fascinating to read!!

I myself have quite a few notebooks (I am a stationery lover!) And I sometimes struggle to think of the "right" things to put in them...

I did some online research and found this amazing website called: "One Word"

This website selects one word every single day. It appears at the top of your screen and you have 60 seconds to write whatever you want about it…

Over-exaggerating or a Slight Problem? | Laurelella

Hello Dreamers,
Yes, yes, I know I've been slacking at the blogging job recently!

I literally had no time, effort or ideas!

But, I'm trying to get back into the swing of things slowly.

I've decided I'm going to write about more life based topics (as I've probably mentioned ten million times before)

So, here's the first installment for ya!

Over-Exaggerating or a Slight Problem?

I have a friend, let's call him Edward for the sake of confidentiality. And Edward seems to come into school in a bad mood almost every. single. day. (friends probably already know who I'm talking about right now!)

I try to comfort him in the best way possible but sometimes I wonder whether he is overreacting?! Everyone feels tired in the morning.
Everyone wants to crawl back into bed and hide from the world...

Is he just over exaggerating that or is there something seriously wrong?
Sometimes I just can't tell the difference.

He has had a tough past few years and I just want t…

Ed Sheeran and Quotes! || Laurelella

Hello Dreamers, A little while ago, Ed Sheeran released his two new songs "Shape of You" and "Castle on the Hill"
Here they are if you haven't heard them yet:-

Today I'm doing a sort of round up post about everything that has been happening really!

I've been on Pinterest a lot recently, if you're not already following me, have a look!

Girl Online: Going Solo

I am currently reading this book! It is really good. Following up from the two other books in the little series, it is well written and always touches my heart! I think it is because I can relate to the characters on so many different levels. I always love a good book where the characters have strong personalities and seeing what goes through their heads in different circumstances.

I've been making quite a few edits of quotes recently too!

Have a look:-

Song Recommendations! || Laurelella

Hello Dreamers, Music. Sometimes I just like to turn up the volume and block the world out, and that's okay! I'd like to share some songs which I have been listening to which I think you might like!
Let's get started..

The Other by Lauv

A friend told me about this song and I absolutely love it. I'd say it's more of a sad and emotional song but it's also really calming! I've been trying to find a song like this for quite a while and I am glad this song fills that gap.

In Too Deep by Sum 41

Don't be put off by an awful looking image before you click play; I can reassure you that this is a really good song. It is played in a movie I like (can't remember the name!) and I only just found out what the name of the song is :') I hope you like it!

Ocean Eyes by Billie Eilish

This song is so beautiful; you need to listen to it!! :) This was also recommended to me from a good friend of mine and the singer has such a pretty and delicate voice. A very emotiona…

Things Can Wait! | Laurelella

Hello Dreamers,Things can wait.
You probably know that but sometimes I myself forget!
When I'm at school, I feel like I have tonnes to do when I get home and I get stressed out.
It really isn't that bad!

Say you are a very busy business man and get at least 20 emails a day, they can wait. People have the patience to wait, yet you try to cram in as many responses as you can!
Sometimes it is good to just take your time and work through things carefully.
As I've learnt, yes, I will have emails, blog comments and messages from people when I get home but they are most likely doing something with their life and it is okay to not respond straight away.
Another point I'd like to make... Whenever my friends text me, my phone makes a sound or vibrates to let me know. I am more than likely going to look and respond to that message/messages straight away. My Mum normally says... "People can wait! Continue what you're doing"
So I took that advice and left my phone fo…
